Cabaret

A temporary night life venue, the Poudrier cabaret will open its doors from 10:30 pm to 3 am on the eve of public holidays to offer special nights featuring colourful attractions performed by artists and personalities from the nightlife and party scene.
Three associations have been invited to bring the Geneva version of cabaret up to date. For seven nights, 360° Fever, Princes of Sikiláke and Geneva Pride will ruffle the feathers of Plainpalais town hall. These associations will welcome you for exotic nights, in a different time and under other stars. Artists, satyrs, tourists, society ladies, black cats, bankers, demimondaines, and gentle strangers are welcome!

Terrace Bar

The central bar of La Bâtie is back at the Maison Communale de Plainpalais, and this year again the Distillerie Bar/Lab’s team will be there to serve you. Faithful to their values, they will showcase local products and craftspeople with a quality offer. Their essentially Genevan menu will delight your taste buds: regional brewers, local and independent winegrowers, juices from our surrounding orchards and a few appetizers, all served by a dedicated and enthusiastic team!

Le Poudrier's scenography : Céline Mosset

Céline Mosset is a space designer. In her creative process, she seeks to plunge users in an immersive universe that she composes from references borrowed from art, film and theatre. She works on all the perceptible elements of the space and addresses our senses through the combination of shapes, colours and light, but also through the use of textures, sounds and smells. For Le Poudrier, she has imagined a project that conjures up the entertainment world and the film industry. She takes over the spaces thanks to a light sublimated in an installation whose effect is at odds with its simplicity. Vibrant, moving and colourful, the light envelops the architecture and dialogues with the space while immersing visitors in a unique universe. Its intensity and rhythm fluctuate and imbue the place with hypnotic energy, affirming its identity as the beating heart of the Festival.
