Music
Berceuses (lit. “lullabies”) is a collective project born from an encounter between eight people, eight artists with their own sensibilities. Created following an invitation from the Altitudes festival in Bulle in 2020, this project is now shrouded in mystery. What we do know is that these explorers of this musical genre have decided to express themselves together, and in a very free manner. Their lullabies address the end of the world, dreams, chimeras and shadow play. They tell stories of mirrors, escape and insomnia. You’ll lose yourself in eight timbres which sometimes merge into one. You’ll travel while listening to the songs in English, French, Aramaic and Japanese. Sometimes you’ll recall voices that aren’t unknown to you because you’ve heard them at an intimate concert, on an improvised stage or in a well-known festival, because they’re the work of musicians and composers from Western Switzerland, or because they reflect our expectations. To find out, all you have to do is come and listen!
