Last year, Cucine(s) spread its fragrance of fresh produce, simmering dishes, memories and friendships in the bucolic setting of the riverbanks of the Aire. We came back from the festival with our eyes dazzled by the lanterns and with garlands of stories in our ears. This year, Vernier will host Floriane Facchini’s project – Vernier and its Lignon high-rises, its calm and industrious Rhône, and its crops. In her preliminary investigations, the director discovered habits and customs, couscous and tartare in the council estate. Communities, ways of living and eating rub shoulders. Table d’hôte or clandestine meals, the important thing is to be together, to act together. The public, with its tools (knife, fork, plate), is thus invited to participate in a collective open-air food project. There will be those who whistle while they work, those who remember, those who will sing. At the very end of the meal, everyone will dance to the Disco Soup. Yes...
Warm clothing if necessary. Fallback solution in case of rain. This show is not suitable for people with reduced mobility.
Please bring your own tableware (knife, fork, plate).
